Romeo & Juliet

After 25 years, Michael Smuin’s Romeo and Juliet makes a glorious return to Ballet West! Sweeping and energetic, Smuin’s version captures William Shakespeare’s humor, drama, and heartache. It is carried by Sergei Prokofiev’s
dramatic score that tells the Bard’s story about two star-crossed lovers, caught in their families’ feuds.

Ballet West is back to live with live music, featuring the Ballet West Orchestra!

“A celebration of youthful passion.” – The New York Times

RUN TIME: 2 hours and 30 minutes including two intermissions.

Katlyn will dance the role of Lady Capulet.
